Common questions

Can I see the story before paying to print?+
Yes — every order includes a full digital preview. You review and approve the story and illustrations before we send anything to print. If you're not happy, we revise it.
How long does printing take?+
Digital PDFs are available immediately after approval. Print books take 3–5 business days to produce, then 5–10 days to ship depending on your location.
Will a printed holiday book arrive in time?+
For US addresses, each holiday Story World shows an order-by date for each shipping speed: order by then for the best chance it arrives before the holiday. Digital books are ready as soon as you approve them. If you ordered and approved in time and the printed book still arrives late, we'll send you a 25%-off code for your next book.
Can I order extra copies later?+
Yes. Once approved, you can order additional copies at a discounted rate from your library. Perfect for grandparents.
What ages are books suitable for?+
Stories are calibrated for children aged 2–12. You tell us your child's age during the questionnaire and the language, themes and complexity adjust accordingly.
What if I want changes after approval?+
Each tier includes 3 revision rounds before approval. After printing begins, we cannot modify the physical book — but you can order a new revised edition anytime.
Is there a subscription?+
No. Every StoryKid book is a one-time purchase. You pay once, you get a book. No recurring charges, ever.
What is the audiobook add-on?+
For $10, we narrate your child’s story as a downloadable MP3 audiobook. Record a 60-second voice sample and our AI clones your voice to read every page — or choose from template voices in 29 languages. Perfect for bedtime stories in a parent’s or grandparent’s voice.
